Thanks DUH. UB and I originally researched and built this gun in 2003 with one goal in mind for it. The VHA 2000 yard club membership. After many months of preperation and anticipation, the gun was completed late in 2004 and we used it successfully to kill rockchucks past 2000 yards in the summer of 2005. By mid 2006, the barrel was fried, and it has been in stasis until just recently when we decided to have it rechambered and braked for deployment in a cow elk hunt I have coming up this winter. This goat hunt was just a warmup for what will be (hopefully) a much longer range elk kill very soon.
