Anyone use this powder with 140 grain bullets? I normally use Retumbo, but I have about a pound and a half of RL25 sitting around with nothing left in the safe to shoot it in anymore. Just curious if anyone has had success with this combo and if they would share the load and what velocity they get with it.

I just switched from retumbo to rl-22 with 140 ballistic tips. I got better accuracy with the faster burning powder. Before that I tried rl-25 and never could get a group under .8. Retumbo worked the best till I tried rl-22. Give it a try, it might do great in your gun. If not give rl-22 a try if you haven't already.

I have tried RL-22 and it done well, but Retumbo grouped a little better in my gun. I just have quite a bit of RL25 that I used to use in a 7mm WBY that I needed to use up and wanted to try it in the STW.
