I use BR2s. I have a 26" and just ordered a 22". You will likely find it easy to work with. My 26" loves 172 Hammers.

What speed were you getting with the 172's?

3000-3025 fps which blew my mind. The 7 SS is amazing. This was is a Tikka loaded well past 3" COAL.

Ran into my first issue today. Loaded ammo won't chamber in my rifle.
Took the 30 degree brass i have and ran it threw the die to size the neck correctly.
168gr smk have to be seated at 2.800" to chamber in my rifle. It's the 110 freebore which is short than most i believe.

What is engaging? Bullet? Shoulder? Or lower case body?

If your chamber is short, you may have to dismantle and bump brass.

Did you load your fireformed brass and now that won't chamber? Trying to follow your last few posts.

Bought a barrel package that came with loaded brass for the rifle. Guess there is some slight variations in the origin actions causing this issue. Barrel passed the the go gauge test fine.

I will be pulling the loaded ammo. As I have 100 rounds to fireform and shot 168gr smk fine with the load above.
