I'm having trouble deciding on what action to use for my 7saum build.
Option #1 - Bergara Premier action. Currently a mountain premier 270 win (I had it for sale a couple days ago). Bergara sold me a magnum bolt face. (Awesome customer service might add). Will I need to have the feed rails opened up? Or can I run a Wyatt CFE #13 kit. Which is the standard length center feed magnum box. The premier action is a Remington 700 clone so I assume the Wyatt box will work without any action modifications.
Option #2 - get a Tikka magnum action. I see some for sale in the classifieds that are a good price. If I get a long action magnum will rails need opened up? Or doesn't it matter because it feeds from a magazine. Or should I get a wsm tikka action.
I have a 7/08 tikka that I love how it feeds and shoots. It's super slick. The Bergara action is also extremely smooth. Between the two I'm not partial to either. Like them both equally. Just want to know what action is the best from a gunsmith perspective for a 7saum build. Which one will feed better?
