I've had this rifle since about this time last year, but never put a scope on it. Today I realized I had an old crappy scope sitting in the safe and some old Leupold mounts sitting around, and figured it would be good enough to do some load development with. It's a semi-custom build.

Blueprinted 700 CDL RUM action
26" worked & crowned factory Rem Sendero 7mm STW barrel
HS Precision 5R Milspec stock - Professionally bedded w/ Devcon (interested in trading for old Sendero stock w/ NO palm swell)
Worked Rem/Walker trigger
Leupold Rings & Bases (temporary)
Tasco World Class 3-9x50 (temporary)

I just realized that I never came back and updated...

Earlier this year I upgraded several rifles with some new Vortex HS-T scopes. And of the scopes I removed, I put one of the higher-end cheap scopes onto this rifle... I forgot to post pics...

MUCH better!!! Finally looks like the LR rig it was built to be. gun)

Swapped some scopes around... Put one of my HS-T 6-24x50 VMR-1 (MRAD) scopes on the old Sendero SF 7mm STW.

Nice looking rifle, your Savage, what kind of trigger do you have in there?

Actually I tried a different route. Its a Sharp Shooter Competition Trigger from sharp shooter supply. I actually like it better than the Timney on my other STW. Easy to adjust and adjustable from 2lbs -12oz. Mine is about 1.2lbs. I don't like feather light triggers.

Its adjustable from 2lbs to 12oz. Mine is set at 1.2lbs. I really don't like feather weight triggers. 1.2-1.5 is where I usually end up.
