7mm stw or 28 nosler?

That's what I was thing about getting some Peterson brass in 300 wby and forming it to stw.

Every round I've ever shot of STW has been made from resized .300 Why Mag cases. Unless you're in a situation that requires the proper headstamp (foreign travel, etc.) It has few drawbacks.

I would pick the 28 just because I like sharper shoulders and straighter bodies.

Most of the standard stuff i shoot is Ackley Improved for the same reasons.

Perhaps this will settle this debate. Which cartridge has its own forum here? Hint: It's not the 28 Nosler. Seriously, I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Only cartridge that needed artificial life support!! The STW should have been allowed to die, we need the brass for better cartridges!!!

Honestly, any of them will do the job for a long darn ways, pick one and get to it!
