sorry but I dont have either. I can describe the difference. Both the rum and nosler are . 550" diameter and have rebated rims while the SM is .530" with no rebate. The rum is longer, has more body taper and a 30 degree shoulder.
The Nosler is slightly shorter, has more body taper, and a 35 degree shoulder.
The SM has a 40 degree shoulder with very minimal taper and a longer neck than the others.
Less taper resists case stretching and grips the side of the chamber better which reduces bolt thrust. This allows higher pressures to be run without ruining brass. The minimal taper and 40 degree shoulder reduce amount of trimming needed and has better accuracy potential as well.What happens when you have less taper?
