7mm 90grain bullet?

I use a 7mm TCU for javelina. WDRJR, I'll be interested in what you find out. Speer quit making my favorite bullet for it, so Ii might be in the market for some Hammers.

Well, gentlemen, I have a little info. In a couple days I will load different
primers.

#1,2,3 didn't max out with a stiff bolt lift so I went home and loaded four more. #D will get pulled.

RockyMtnMT,
How silly of me not to include info. I was firing at 100 yards on 15X. I use 1" "L" at 100 and 3" "L" at 300 yards. At 300 I make the first "L" and then another on each side of it with about 1/8" space between them. That way I can see the bullet holes if one goes through the "line".

Look at the Hammer Hunter Load Data on this Forum.
I've tested light bullets in my 7 RUM with very mixed results. Between the huge freebore (.400 or so) and a huge powder charge, consistency was a problem as mentioned above. 120 gr was about as light as I could go with anything close to reasonable groups. Got some spectacular fire balls!
Along those lines.....is the 116gr AH in a 270 WSM heavy enough for consistency in your opinion?

.

I can't speak to the 116 ah in the 270 wsm but my 115 custom comp load was the surprising winner for my last 270 wsm barrel, it was chop down test barrel I ran a pile of them successfully courtesy sps.
