What do you guys zero your AR15s to?

50 yards, if it's for CQB (red dot) or 100 yards if it's a special purpose rifle (scope).

My AR15 is 5.56 and zeroed at 100 yards. It's main use is prairie dogs out to 300 yards with a 2-7X scope.

I use a 50 yd zero on all my AR's 15's and 10' I just believe it the most practical zero. An AR15 with a 2.8" over bore scope zeroed at 50 yds using a 70 gr RDF gives approximately 1.5" inches high at 100 yds.

It's going to depend on what you're using the rifle for and then the twist rate followed by the bullet choice designed for the twist.

25 yds for me.
Gives me a battle sight zero BSZ out to about 325 yds
Bullets are no more than 3" high or low out to 325 yds

Much depends on your intended use and optics
