What weight bullets?I've just started playing with RL16. So far it's been ok, haven't got it consistently under MOA. Could you share any details on your RL16 loads? Thanks

I'm in the 44.5 area with 150 grain, and 46, with 140 grain. The 150 bullets were 150smk, and Noslers. The 140,was Nosler also. Could not get the 139 to fly, with any combo. Really wanted it to fly. I'm. 040 off lands. Noslers like to jump.I've tried a fair amount with the 139 btsp, and I'd really like this bullet to work with it because I have tons of them, but thus far results have been just so-so. More recently played with just a few loads with the 154sst, and one load ran about 3/4"... So more promising. Time will tell.

Varget is almost impossible to beat. In short action, theres probably nothing better. The 139 is a deer hammer!âš’FWIW, I've been able to get the 139 to fly well with Varget (consistent a around 5/8") and my barrel is 24" (longer then most hunting rifles in this caliber).
Flat7stw, I meant to ask, are you shooting the 139 flat base, or boat tail?

It's no slouch! Mines a lazer!My longest mule deer kill was at 465 yards with a 139btsp (out of a 7-08 I sold) so I'm confident in it's kill-ability!
