7 mm remington magnum

I don't own one but I do all the reloading for my Dad's 7mm. Awesome gun from a great gunsmith.

Gre-Tan built R700
28" Lilja #5 3-groove 1-9 twist

WW Super Brass - 69.7gr H1000 - 168gr Berger VLD - CCI 250 - 3115fps

No pressure. 6-8 shots on the brass now with tight pockets. Annealed after first 2 shots.

Load Development @ 200.#6 is 2 - 3 shot groups (6 total)


500 on steel with the H1000 combo


600 on paper when we were figuring the ballistic curve (3 shots)

Sako AV custom 24" with mag-na-port, B&C bedded stock, Timney trigger 2lb. Elk, hogs and deer. 168gr Berger VLD, when I do my part right .5 MOA.
 
Remington 700 Classic/Timney trigger, 1/8 Brux 24" bbl w/brake. 70gr H1000, 180 Berger, CCI250 primers. Around 2900 fps at the muzzle. Still need to experiment with some 160gr Partitions and Accubonds I have for deer. Vortex 4-16x44 HSLR in Tally mounts seems to get the job done at even extended hunting ranges (600-700 yards).
