I'd rather have less recoil, less over bore, medium powders like 4350 and n555. For a 700yrd and in gun I don't think I'll need more speed. I want an accurate low maintenance rig.

The F-Class guys like it.
Low recoil and barrel life should be great.
I believe they are using the 180gr. I don't know what velocity.
Should be accurate and low maintenance.
Go for it, Alex Wheeler is familiar with this cartridge maybe he will chime in and enlighten you.

Love mine. Lower recoil, great accuracy SA/MA capable. N555/565 works great.
I shoot mostly 162-168gr bullets

I built a 7-6.5 PRCW hunting rig Alex did the machine work. I have a Bat HR action Brux barrel 28" and McMillian CF stock.
I only have 120 shots fired so far. I am very pleased for a hunting rig and my ability. I have a Leupold VX5 HD 3-15x56 CDS with a custom diel turret.
I have only tried N555 53-55.7 gr. with WLRM primers seated .012 jam to .020 jump every load below 55.5 gr shot 10 shots at 300 yds at 2.4-2.6" groups. Some of the better loads were ES 18 SD 6.4 at 2,794 average velocity. Over 2,800 and 55.7 seemed to open up to around 3-3.2" and my ES and SD increased. Its cold here in Maine at 18 degrees and blowing 20mph+ but I am going to the pit/range today to try different primers.
My goal was to build a hunting rig I could shoot out to 500 yds and have great accuracy and longer barrel life so far even with 120 shots fired I am very happy. For my hunting style the Leupold CDS line of scopes work well. Range dial shoot.
