Well my Smith doesn't have a reamer for what I want so I have to buy a prefit. I see shilen and pacnor chamber a 7/300 Weatherby. Who else makes a prefit in this chamber

the 7-300WBY was one of my very first wildcat calibers ,,,, great choice ,,,,,,

only one better IMO ,,, the Lazz 7mm Firebird (((see Long Magnum Cartridges ,,,,,

I've had the privelage of working with a 7-300 weatherby. Wicked caliber with Berger 180's and the new 195's. That rifle was a 9lb with scope set-up and was comfortable to shoot. Havn't killed anything with it yet but i bet it'll be a hammer.

what can I expect out of it with 162, and 180 gr?

Is this cartridge to much for a 140gr bullet. I was thinking that would be a good deer bullet.

Ballistically similar to the 7STW. Case capacities nearly identical.
Loading data for the 7STW will work fine providing you start low and work up as you should with any new cartridge.
