I've run a 7 Mashburn Super for 3 decades and a few..barrels. Love the Big 7's!

It's not the beast that you're NMI is (I used to dream about doing a #1 in 7/378Wby) I suspect that you're getting another 150 fps over what I do.

However my barrel life is up in the 2500 rounds range

I plan my whole year around hunting season. Should end up with 6-7 tags and 3 months of hunting come September.

Just realized I was out shooting my buddy's 28 Nosler, right along side the 7-300 NMI with the same bullet side by side for a direct comparison.

But I confirmed them at 3320fps out of a 26" barrel with 90gr. N570

Can you say record turn around?? lol.

Dropped off the new barrel to @Barehandlineman11 on Friday night. And got a brand new gun by Sunday night??? EPIC

End up finishing it at 26" instead of 24" because I had .760 OD muzzle brakes and that's where they matched the contour perfectly. A little extra speed never hurt anyone lol.

This is a 1-9 twist #6 contour brux, with the shank shortened slightly. This SHOULD be the barrel I hunt with this season , so he went ahead and cerakoted this one haha.
