6gt in ctr mags

Are you talking ai aw mags with hrd kits? Action has to be cut specifically for aw mags to run this route, luckily there are more and more options these days. My lone peak fuzion is aw cut, but still struggles to run 6bra from aw mags. Tikka will not run from aw mags unfortunately.

I used to run 6.5x47 in a Sako TRG which has a similar mag. It was awful. It goes back to the length of the cartridge and how it sits. Like what you are experiencing with the GT. At that time KRG made a conversion kit for AI mags, once I installed that and went to AICS mags. No feeding issues. The folks I knew with 260 or 308 trgs didn't have the feeding issues I did. I tried 3 or 4 mags and even sent the worst back to beretta and got it exchanged with no improvement. Once I got the AICS system no issues, I regret selling that rifle.

Sounds like arc mags are where I'm gonna start if I can find a couple.

You'll find them from time to time on snipers hide if you're on there. I found 3 with upgraded flollowers for a friend of mine last week. Same guy runs a Tikka 22cm from a chassis using arc mags and it runs like a champ. 22cm didn't like to run from factory mags in my t3x 22cm, don't know why, but I had to go aics bottom metal route. Ctr mags may have worked but I never tried em.
