6 vs 6.5 Creedmoor opinions wanted

I like the velocity of the 6, but the barrel life and larger bullets of the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Basically, I want a super low recoil gun that maintains 1800 fps at ~700 yards with 800-1200 ft lbs of energy at 700 yds.

Lots of people are blowing up the 22 Creedmoor, but let's just say I'm not bought in!

My other thoughts are 25-06 Ackley, 6mm Rem Ackley and 243 Ackley, but I like the simplicity of the Creedmoor. Call it the easy button.

So, between the 6 and 6.5, it seems like a barrel life question mostly, or is there something else. I'd like max barrel life as I will shoot this a lot.

Is there something else to consider? No, I don't want a big gun….i want to shoot a lot. No, I don't want a trainer!
I shot a match with a guy this summer who had 1800 rounds on his 6 creed and was still cloverleafing. If you chase speed though you'll be lucky to break 1200.
I'd do a 25 creed personally but the 6 is solid too

Is this a hunting rifle or a target rifle? Why do you have those energy and velocity constraints? Barrels are wear items like tires. If you are going to "shoot a lot" then barrel life is going to be what it is. The most expensive thing in a singular shot is the bullet!!! You can easily spend 2x on bullets to burn out a barrel for what a top shelf barrel costs.

Split the difference 25 Creedmoor!!!! Or @lancetkenyon 's 25MBK.

6.5 Creedmoor is 6.5 Creedmoor......yawn.

6 Creedmoor is kinda cool but your barrel life will be a bit less.

22 Creedmoor is a coyote round....I said what I said lol.

If you are recoil sensitive and don't want a heavy rifle then steer clear of a full size cartridge like 25-06AI.
