6 mm SAUM Reamer prints

Would you mind sharing some starting loads on your 6 SAUM? I'm working a load for buddy with N568 and velocity has been not what I expected. Thanks
I've just messed with RL23 and RL26 for my 6 saum. Haven't gotten too far in load development with it as I've been too busy with other rifles. Started at 53 w RL23 and 54.5 with RL26. Eventually I'll try Retumbo as that was my go to for the 6-284

Thanks, I'm up to 63 gr of N568 and 108 Bergers EH and at 2960 out of a 20 inch barrel, no pressure but case capacity is dwindling. I'm gonna go to a faster powder as you did, in the RL23 to H1000. Thanks

N568 is kinda the worst of the 5 series powders. I'm not sure where it shines. N565 and 570 seem to always outproduce it on velocity. Even in Vihtavouri's data you can find numerous loads where 570 outdoes it on velocity with 2-3 grains less and 565 equals it with 5 grains less.

I don't think anybody has tried it yet but StaBall HD seems like a pretty good fit in the real overbore 6's.

I agree, I've had 4 pounds seating on my shelf for 1 year, I figured I'd give it a go. I'd be happy to get to 3100ish , but 2950 is what I get from my 24 inch 6 CM, not really the point of shooting a 6 SAUM.
