Another bullet to try is the Barnes 112gr Match Burner - generally inexpensive and can remain supersonic beyond 1,500 yds.

Coldfinger, a 1/3 inch group at 100yds is good. If you want to tighten your group, try using a smaller target. Those circles you're aiming at have too much slop. Try aiming at something the size of a thumb tack or .22 hole. Add a dot inside those large circles. You could also draw a square and aim at one of the corners. Aim small, hit small.

It's got a 1/4" of clearance between scope and bolt, that's just the angle of the picture I took.

It's probably the high polish action and bolt that throws me off on it. All my other actions are either bead blasted or nitrided in some form or fashion.
