6 ARC 80gr ELD-VT

Having trouble finding load data. Two yotes down with the factory loads out of gas gun and was extremely impressed. Would like to stretch their legs in a bolt gun to really see what they can do. My understanding is it's a 107 ELDM jacket(?), is that correct? Would you take bolt data then for the 107 and start there? Only been reloading a couple of years and this is my first smaller, somewhat less established cartridge, so want to make sure I'm on solid ground. Thanks!

I'd reach out to Hornady to see if they have some info for you.

Hodgdon has load data for the 80 gr ELDVT. I only checked Varget, but you can check the other powders. Based on the PSI, it looks like gas gun data, so you'd still have a bit more room to go for bolt.

What have you learned along the way with this offering?

Will be giving these a go in a bolt action in the coming weeks. Just picked up a couple hundred factory 2nd's to give a try.

Currently contemplating what powder to put to use. All but one Hodgdon gas gun data, indicates compressed loads when approaching peak gas gun pressure.
