6.5X300 Weatherby Mag Recoil

It's a 6.5mm cartridge, there is no recoil

After firing my wildcat .375 with 300 grain bullets at 3,000 feet per second almost any of the lesser rifles seem to have no recoil. For someone not used to the recoil you are a 6.5 running 75-80 grains of powder will certainly have recoil.

I have ended up with a 6.5 x 300 ultra light brand new in the box and I'm not sure what to do with it ?
I typically shoot the 300 and 338 Rums. I'm looking for advice should I keep it or sell it ? I have to many to shoot now .
What would you guys do ?

Shoot it awhile. See how you like it. If it doesn't "satisfy your soul" like your fast Mediums...then you can sell it off.

I think your right ! This should be amazing on Pronghorn with the 127 grain . I have to find some ammo and a set of rings ! That 5 x 25 x 50 trijjicon should work just fine !

When I ran those in a 6.5-7RUM they didn't get accurate until .120" jump. You might start with .040", .080" and .120". Then narrow it down from there.
