6.5x284 124 HH load data

My 6.5-284 Norma shooting the 124 HH loves RL16, I tried RL23 and H4831 and the RL16 was a clear winner, I have no RL 26 sadly. I also tried a magnum primer (fed 215) and it pressured out pretty quick. The fed 210 worked out better in my rifle for sd and es. cheers, Jason

What is your load with the RL16 gents?

I have RL23, but seems to be slower than what I see others getting. Maybe I have a slow barrel.

53.5 grn RL 16 @ a corrected velocity of 3197 fps. If I remember right I hit pressure at 54.5 grns so work up with caution. Also my rifle is 24" tube. Hope this helps Jason

I just got a cpl boxes of 6.5 124 gr Hammer Hunter bullets from my cousin. He doesn't like them and gave them to me. So l figured I'd give em a try.
I looked at the compilation put together and only found 1 load from dougduey. Wondering if anyone else has load data for this bullet in 6.5x284.
26" proof 1-7.5 twist stiller predator LA using accurate mag. Currently shooting berger 130 gr VLDH

Here's what I'm running in a CA 6.5x284 26" 8 twist
Lapua brass
Fed 210M
124 HH (3.088" COAL)
52.5 gr Hybrid 100V
3,240 fps.
Love it. Hits hard.

I hit pressure at 52.5gr Rl23 so settled on 52. Should put me about 3050 FPS or so. Not as fast but good nuff for white tails in VA.
