6.5x284 124 HH load data

I am shooting Hornady 123 SST's with RL26 57.7gr .008 off the lands 24" barrel. Getting 3125 fps and .36" groups at 100yds. Something similar may work for you.

My 6.5-284 Norma shooting the 124 HH loves RL16, I tried RL23 and H4831 and the RL16 was a clear winner, I have no RL 26 sadly. I also tried a magnum primer (fed 215) and it pressured out pretty quick. The fed 210 worked out better in my rifle for sd and es. cheers, Jason

Aloha Andrew
Yes, mostly wild boar. There is also feral goat, axis deer, blacktail deer, mouflon sheep, feral sheep and mouflon/feral hybrids.

There is a public draw season for axis and mouflon on lana'i and blacktail on kaua'i

On private land and much of the public land hunting is year round. I normally hunt several times a week.

Aloha

Thanks Doug,
I use H4831sc for my 130 berger load will try that. Appreciate your time! I have a Axis/Mouflon hunt in a few weeks. Hope l can get some time to work this load.

I wish l had some Re23 its the only Reloder powder l dont have. I wish we could order by the pound and have it shipped liked the mainland. For Hawaii, l need to order a minimum of 100# powder in order for them to ship.

I used to do that a bunch but these days with limits and buying craze. There's no way l can order powder anymore 😕

Thanks again everyone
the H4831sc worked out well in my rig. with the 210 primer. the 215 doesn't group as well but you can use less powder for the same speed, for me.
