Ive had good luck with the 147 but haven't shot the 140. I did have good luck with the 140 Amax tough!Any suggestions on Target/Match bullets? Was looking at trying the Hornady 6.5mm .264 140 gr ELD Match.
If I were looking at building a Short action Sherman designed cartridge on a long action, I would do the Max. It is the exact same design only a little longer with increased performance. Are there any downsides to building a Sherman short mag on a long action? Currently building a 338 Sherman but contemplating my next one and thinking about one of the SS or SST which needs the mag bolt face.
Is a Savage action worth building it on? You can swap out the bolt heads easily, correct?
No, I have dies, reamers and brass for the 300 and 338..is the 7Max the only max currently?
The 6.5 Max should run the 156 Berger North of 3200' and the 300 should push a 200 grainer ai 3150'great.... what info do you have on the 300 and 6.5? i don't see those on your website. Was debating on the 6.5 when i decided on the 338 Sherman.
Yes because you build it on a longer actionnice.... seating the 156s ok with the standard reamer?
