6.5 rem mag build

Reviving an old thread, I built a 6.5 Remington Mag on a Tikka 300 Win Mag I bought here several years ago. I had a Shilen #2 barrel installed cut at 23", nice lightweight rifle.
With the 140 Berger it's 3.1" which just about fills the magazine.
It shoots those well along with the 143 Hornady X version and 125 Partitions. Going to have to try Woods load for 130 Siroccos 11, Since I have the bullets and powder.
Brass is no problem as I own a 350 Rem Mag and had 200 new cases.

Main reason I posted this is I have a #4 Brux 1-8 twist 260 barrel I took off a SA 700 that I used this year to shoot a long range challenge match. Plenty of life left.
I can't decide what to do with it.

Chamber on a LA Remington 700 and make it a 6.5 Rem Mag since I have the dies and brass or go with a 264 Win Mag
