Thanks so much! I'm going to load 143gr ELD-X and also test some 142gr Accubond LR. I was wondering about large rifle primers being able to kick off the higher powder charges in 6.5 PRC; however all the reloading books say use large rifle primers. Only Vihtavouri's website says to use magnum primers with their powder. Thanks for the insight on the Lapua brass.I run 59 grains of H1000 with Hornady brass and 156 Berger's in my SAC 22 inch barrel. In my 20 inch Proof Barrel I run 55 grains H1000 with 144 Berger and CCi 200 primer. I would start lower and work up but Lapua brass will require less powder to achieve the same velocity as compared to Hornady brass so start lower.
