6.5 prc velocity question

H1000 at 59 also gives me 3061 with the 156's but not quite as accurate as the RL 26. 26" barrel. Looking into maybe trying some 570. Has anybody had luck with 570?

Had an interesting phenom this year. As I prepared this rifle for hunting and reload rounds I found that my results reflected the book values almost exactly. 59gr H-1000 gave me 3105 at 55degrees and 3095 at 33 degrees in different sessions with 140 hornady sst and hornady brass. I can't explain why the very significant difference from last years results.

Same barrel? If so it sped up to its capability or you are making more pressure via brass dimensions, chamber or barrel fowling

So far I have two loads worked up for my 6.5 PRC with a 24" Proof Carbon Prefit barrel. The first was a target load for a long range class that consists of a 153.5 Berger at 2910 fps with 57.2gr H1000. The second is a 123gr Absolute Hammer at 3430 fps with 58.5gr H100V.
