6.5 PRC Detachable Mag - LONG Action solved (for me)

For anyone interested -
I was looking for a long action magazine for my 6.5 PRC, I had already purchased the HS Precision BDL drop in (minor stock adjustment needed, did myself) but I also had a KRG Bravo stock I wanted to switch to. My regular 300 Win Mag and 338 Lapua AI magazines wouldn't work so I started looking around and found an Accurate Mag ".308 WIN. LONG ACTION SSSF MAGAZINE". Works PERFECTLY with very minor lip adjustments, no blocks, hacks etc. Just works.

I have a vid also, but must not be allowed.

Like I said, just an FYI for anyone looking.

I know Hawkins Hunter DBM makes a spacer plate to use in the L/A Hunter DBM for 6.5 PRC.

Very helpful been looking for reviews originally to build a LA 7prc/300 prc with a switch barrel swap bolts and run a 308/6.5 creed then I found out about the feeding problems, this will solve that.. hopefully

Other route was to kick down to xm (medium length ) and go down to a 7 Saum or 300 wsm but even at that I may find I have feeding issues for a 308/6.5 creed and there no medium mag for short action …

So you bent the lips up a bit? Did you just increase the gap until the cartridge would push through?

He says its a fix for long action. 6.5 prc doesn't have any magazines at the 3.715. Hawkins has solutions for remington 700 models and clones but any other platform and you are kinda SOL. I am building a howa 1500 long action and hopefully this solves my issue.

Not quite ..I'm dropping my defiance into a XLR element chassis. AICS mags, action doesn't matter XLR said on the unknown munitions make a medium action mag for a LA ..

Let me rephrase... if you are building on a Howa LA your pretty much SOL

I ordered the same exact magazine and the steel body of the magazine squeezes the PRC case too much and the round won't feed upwards. Any ideas or thoughts on this?

On the 6.5 PRC? No. Mine does not appear to squeeze.

The first round feeds, but the rest stay stuck down in the mag. I have to pry them out with a flat head. So idk what to do.
