I agree with earlier post… shouldn't be that bad on accuracy.
They should replace the factory assembly if it's has that many issues.

Grendel is inherently accurate and 3-4 moa is absolutely not the norm… even with factory ammo.

Rings were torqued to 25"# per manufacturers recs. American Defense recon mount.

May put another scope on and aee it that is issue.

Ditch that mount . I quit using the quick release mounts a long time ago on AR's

I agree that 5 moa is more than likely the scope. I have a few of those mounts and I've had issues with accuracy if I didn't torque the bottoms tight first, then do the tops. When I did as recommended I stopped having issues. Fingers crossed

I've had good luck with the burris pepr mount. I would for sure try another scope. Those package AR's are a crapshoot sometimes.

I usually shut off the gas on an adjustable gas block and single feed it to see how accurate they are before opening it up.
