6.5 Creedmor- the Holy Grail?

Pretty sure if you put a 140 gr bullet in the 7-08 of a similar profile, it will beat the 6.5 CM by a bit all the way down the line.
Not in the wind and not in section density which equates to how well it penetrates. If of course they are of similar construction. The chart is scued however the bullet weights are squarely based on actual sales of loaded ammo not what most here actually run in those cartridges. You put my 147eldm handload @ 2855 up against a good 708 162 or 168 and the the numbers are closer with more distance for both but recoil sectional density and wind drift will still favor the creed.

No, it would favor the 6.5x284 or 6.5 saum...compare the same bullet as the Creed in a faster 6.5 and the bigger one will be leaps and bounds better.

Skewed yes, but I'm the one who set the peramiters, which were skewed toward recoil. However, if it is Data you seek, Data you shall have.

6.5 creed vs 300 WSM. Less than book max with Litz BC in 300, factory Hornady info on 6.5. Not the altitude. Not a leg to stand on for the creed your charts are garbage

Disagree. Not talking about your 147ELDM. Read what I said. Federal's loads run right at max pressure in about all loads. The comparator shows that similar bullets with similar profiles run just a tad better in a 7-08. Not worse for sure. Actually a statistical tie. Lots of the 6.5CM shooters run factory anyway. Heck man I'm a CM shooter and fan of the dang thing. But it is what it is.
