I had excellent groups with 100v and the 120-125 class bullets. Typically between 2980-3020fps for the 3 bullets I shot. 120mk 123mk and 123sst. If winchester ever sells that 125 deer xp bullet in component form I'd think that would be the goto bullet for inside of 500yds for cup and core bullets.
Steve makes a great argument for his Hammer bullets. They take no time to figure out a load. They are consistent way beyond belief and you can get more speed out of them. The fact that they are going to perform exactly as expected each time you shoot an animal. With the accuracy and precision without the drawn out load development makes a great set it and forget it option!!
