I am hoping to get 2850-2900. I am probably going to go with the creedmoor in a 22" barrel.
Not gonna happen. With a 26in barrel and rl-26 you could probably do it. A creed with a 22 in will get you 2750-2800 with a 140 depending on powder and brass.A friend is going to be loading my stuff. With these new 156 gr Berger's, I am hoping to get 2850-2900. I am probably going to go with the creedmoor in a 22" barrel.

Remember your ABCs. Anything But Creedmoors.
I don't think those velocities are possible with either of those calibers. In fact, I can only get 3050 Fps on the average with my 6.5 SAUM and 140s.So let's get back on track here.
We are discussing the 6.5 creedmoor and the 260 as my choices. I have read where people are getting 3050 with a 140 out of the 6.5 creedmoor and 3100 out of the 260.
I wanna do that with a 22" barrel. Is the 260 the way to go? Will the 6.5 creedmoor be more accurate?
It seems as if a lot of people want to express their opinions on something I didn't ask about.
Those are some lofty numbers for either of those rounds. Just because you can cram enough powder in the case to make those speeds and the bolt still opens after you fire it, doesnt mean its smart to do. 3000fps from a 140 is gonna be way over 62k cup pressure. So let's get back on track here.
