If your running a factory barrel, I'd do the creed. Just because the factory reamers used for the creed have a very tight freebore . That's a big part of why most 6.5 creedmoor factory rifles shoot very well, even the bargain bolts that everyone sells now. That, and ammo choices for the creed are many and everywhere.
If your building your rifle, the choice get much harder. If you lengthen the freebore on the 260, you can take advantage of the extra case capacity with the longer , heavier bullets. The creed was built around the heavier bullets and has plenty of room in the mag for them. You might run into mag length issues with the 260 setup I spoke of above. But if your building a custom rifle, those things can be dealt with .
