I'll toss in my two cents as I hunt almost everything with a creedmore. So I don't recommend base of skull head shots. Not that they don't work but why not give yourself the biggest margin of error when buck fever strikes. Guys that swear by it or only take those don't ever tell you the ones they horribly wounded. You're not bench shooting. Have I taken them yep all the time. But usually close distance and very comfortable with that shot. Anything past 100 yards or not steady rest place it in the boiler room. I used to run the eldx and eld decent bullets for sure. But I had some not so perfect kills. Maybe contact superior ammo and have him load you some hammers. Or second in my book.
