TAWS: my first 6.5/06 bbl cost me 35.00 so you know it been a while and I used 54 gr of 4350 with the 140 for 3000 fps. Today IMR 4350 powder is different.. on 9-4-19 i chronographed a 140 with 52.5 of reloader 22 or win WXR the same powder at 3007. I got 3077 with 53 grs. but the primer was not round enough. thus if you start at 51 you will be fine.. my favorite mule deer load is 53 grains of Rl 22 with the 130 accubond at 3109 and 52 gr at 3050 or exactlly the same a factory 270 with the 130. but your range is much better with the 6.5 bullet. with reloader 25-- 54.0 gr 140 serria GK i got 3011. primer was good . same 140 bullet with 53.5 H 1000--3001 .now using IMR 7828 52 gr with the 140 fb bullet 3020 and the pressure was OK not a hot load. 53.5 7828 with 130 it did 3050 again equal to the 270 130. this was shot at 38 temp at 3400 elevation.. my bbl is a ER shaw 25" and the older rem 700 action. H1000 is made in Australia-r-22 25 23 26 is made in Sweden and IMR is made in Canada all are good powders.. good luck
