375 winchester loads?

I love the .375 Winchester, and no disrespect to the 99, but if starting reloading this might not be the best place to start.

Get a common cartridge, in a bolt action. Just me.

Tag for when I get home and can reference my notes

Finding bullets will be a challenge. This is my best source so far:

Powder selection is also going to be fun, just because components are hard to come by and it uses the same powders as some more popular cartridges.

Hornady has put the 375 Win into the “retired” category, but they still have data for it:

Get the Lee Modern Reloading( Second Edition) book from Midway USA, about $18 Bucks. They've got 2 pages of loads for the 375 Winchester.

The 200 grn flat nose will work great. The 375 Win is a sweet little round, but it's going to struggle to push a bonded 300 gn fast enough for good expansion. 200 to 220 is what you seek for a bullet.

My load for the Fury 220 gn from my Winchester 94 uses 38.5 gn Accurate 1680, Fed 210 LRP, coal 2.546"

Your load might be totally different. You're already using a different rifle, and almost every component is likely to be different. There's no shortage of books or youtube videos available to guide you through the loading process, so make sure you're comfortable with what you're doing.
