.375 SWISS P : NEW LONG RANGE CALIBER

I shortened the barrel to 26" and reduced the mv (a guesstimate) to 2700.

By my math…..the recoil in 10 pound pkg (73 ft/lbs) 🙀 would be doable but not comfortable, especially from the bench. In an 11 pound pkg…. the recoil (66 ft/lbs) is much more tolerable, 8 ft/ lbs more than my rifle, but the pkg would not very comfortable to carry all day! ☹️

Life is full of complicated decisions! 🤦‍♂️ memtb

I shoot a 50cal once in a while. :D

Of course it it will have a brake. A CAN is a different problem. 375 CheyTac rated CAN. ;)

Barrel is going to be 30 - 36". I have one of each. That extra 100-200 FPS is needed for the games I want to play.

Probably add weight to the stock. Which is a new thing since 2019 but makes sense. See if I can get it up to 17lb. Add a heavy ARCA rail. Brass weights on the side of the stock.

I don't know where my bigger scale is to see what the 338 Edge Weatherby weighs. If I use a Weatherby 338-378/460 action, it will be interchangeable in the stock with the Edge. Which was an idea I played with. One stock, multiple barreled actions. It's all single feed games so mag box doesn't matter.
