I ended up with this reamer, and didn't think much about it until now. My online Google Foo is not helping my out and I was unable to get a hold of Clymer by phone so I'm hoping some of the folks on here can help me out.......
The reamer is stamped:
Clymer
Fin (B)
357 max
Attached it a picture of said reamer with a piece of Max brass next to it. I don't think I've ever seen a reamer without a steep at the casing mouth before. My first thought is that it was a cylinder chamber reamer, but even those that I find pictures of online have the end of case step in them. Please learn me up! I pulled it out because I have a 357 magnum barrel for a Contender and was considering reaming it to Maximum. Also, can anyone verify if any other brands of pilots will fit this shank? On calipers it measures .234...
Thanks!
