Presentingā€¦the .350 Sauropod!!!! šŸ¦•

Just kidding, not a new cartridge for real, it's whAt happens running a .375 HH case through a .358 Norma resizing die. Like a sauropod it has a very long neck (sauropods being those huge Dino's with long necks and tails). Lots of trimming to do, and it's too tapered but should fireform just fine (yay for belt headspace).

Just being an idiot and wasting your time šŸ˜

Wildcatting is a disease. You can't help it.
I would love to be so afflicted one day haha. Got a few wildcats or semi-wildcats I want to try in the distant future if money permits.

Near the top of my list in no particular order

.30 xc (.33 xc necked down, ultimate .30 cal)

6mm-06 ai or 6mm Mach v (7 rem mag necked down)

.22-284

20 practical (just a standard .223 necked down to .204 no further modifications - very economical high performance varminter) or .20-250 with a brake for a zero muzzle jump laser beam

And on the other end, the 475 capstick (full length hh brass blown out to zero taper).

Now I could get behind a BIG 7 necked to 6mm. 4K here we come!

I've already conquered 4K with my plain vanilla .300 win mag haha. 120 grain Barnes Tac-tx (originally a blackout bullet), impact plated with hexagonal boron nitride (HBN - the bore is treated with it too) on top of 89.5 grains of lightly compressed Hodgdon Superformance powder in Peterson brass with a fed 215 m. Chronographed at 4050 fps average. An absolute "off" switch for deer.
