I could have spared you using 4350.Still searching......
Scratch H4350
67-68g wielded a measly 2733-2744 w/ the 250EH
Who knows where 6.5 staball burn rate lands? I have a pound....
Stabal is near 4350

Yes. chamber is 2.005"So after sizing my fireformed brass I'm at 2.010" oal. Do I need to trim?
The WSM really needs at least a medium action to work correctly. A wsm in a short action will loose powder capacity with modern long high BC bullets. Keep in mind the WSM as not designed for the long bullets common today and was just simply more muzzle for the average deer hunter. The Sherman line of cartridges is optimized by action type to avoid handicapping the cartridge in the wrong action like so many other cartridges. How is it that you guys are getting 3000fps with a 230gr eld but the 338 wsm won't even come close?? I'm sure the Efficiency comes into play but not that much. Have these rounds been pressure tested??
It's a 23 inch Benchmark.What's your barrel length?
I thought I noticed something in my fireforming loads with the StaBall. I haven't played with that powder enough to make a good conclusion. I'll probably try 215's with the StaBall next.Curious as to why you switched primers between shooting 100v and staball?
