Could someone tell me if Terry Cross installs his hardware for the LoggerHead cheek piece in a customer's stock?

I have a CZ H.E.T. stock that could really use his setup, but I have no milling machine, or I would do it myself.

The .338 Norma is The Best Cartridge that I have ever shot. It works so well and the barrel life is 2.5 times longer than the LaPua with downrange Accuracy about three times better. That is a Fact.

I don't have any experience with the Lapua but do with the edge. How does accuracy and barrel life compare to the Edge?

I don't have any data on the 338 Edge... However, Shawn Carlock does. He has been shooting it for some time, with great success.

That's a good question. I know that the throat of the 338 Lapua begins to erode at 700 rounds. (Study by St. Mark's).

When I took the barrel in to Mark Chanlynn for trimming he asked me how many rounds I had down the barrel. At the time I think that I had something like, 680.... I asked him why and he stated that, "the barrel looked brand new." I said, "brand new?" and he said, "Ye

Hi fella's,i have to say i was definitely inspired by this thread and i'm excited to say i am a couple of weeks out from receiving my 338 norma,would any of you 338 norma owners mind sharing some start loads best powder to use as there isn't a lot of load data out there,has anyone tried the Vihtavuori range of powders.

Does anyone have any picture comparisons of noted rounds??? I know of the "old".338 Norma, same as the .358 Norma case, necked down, but this new version, has me scratching my head.

Snipershide has a bit of info with powder you asked about.RL 22 82.5-84.2. A person that I spoke with that has worked w/several recommended Retumbo 88-91 w/300 smk, cci 250. I have been using that w/ fed 215, 300 hybrid, but had to back off. I am waiting for Hornady 285's. My rifle is lighter, I shot a 1'', and a 1 1/8'' @ 400 w/86.5 Retumbo, .005 off,v-2645.
