Cody,I'm using RS LRT powder. This load is with:
102.5gr RS LRT
250 gr Berger EH
FED 215
New Lapua brass
These were shot at 200 yds. Just trying to figure out where to go from here. These are running about 2980fps. The numbers in the groups are CBTO and the numbers outside are group size. Any help would be much appreciated.
With the Norma, I expect groups of sub MOA, even out to 1000. If the load doesn't give me that, I keep searching.I'm running a 26" 1:9.4"
The badlands 275 grain Super Bulldozer 2's call for a 1:9 twist, but I am shooting 1/2 MOA groups at 300 with them in my 26" 1:9.3.I'm running a 26" 1:9.4"
What distance are you jumping the 250 gr Berger in the 338 Norma?I can help you with that problem! It might take me a couple of days to get up there but I can certainly try!
Yes, Re-26 will work in the 338 Norma Mag and the one of the 250 gr. Bergers. You can get close to a nearly full case but start low and work up slowly watching for signs of pressure.
They like to jump A LOT for best accuracy in every 338 I've shot them in. In this particular case I'm jumping them .095" from the lands. How far are you jumping the 285's?
