338 Excalibur load data

We have recently played with 2-338's on the bertram brass and have got 3175 to 3200 with 285 eld and 300 bergers, cery accurate with load work up. Rl33, rl50, n570, h50 all good powders

Just finished today. Have not shot it yet.
32 inch X Calibur barrel on Savage target action. Will be reworking my loads. Will be using different powder than 50bmg. I'll post loads later.View attachment 144379

130 grains of WC872 pushing 245 grain Lehigh at 3350. 10 mils at 1500 yards.

Is anyone shooting 338 excalibur's? Trying to find some load data for 300gr bergers. Three of us bought these rifles at sci a few years ago an trying to change loads. Unfortunately the person that built them isn't in Buisness no more.

I have one too. I developed loads from the 338/378 Wthby back off 10% then moved up. Close to max 116grn AR2217 with 200/210 gr. No noticable signs of pressure. Just bought 338 Excal brass from Bertram Australia 300$ Per 100. About to load 285gr Horn Bc 829. 104 gr 2217. And ideas thanks John in Queensland. [email protected]

The 300 and 338 raptor is a long cylinder lapua it has more capacity then the restricted long neck 338 xc it has more capacity then the excaliber kirby could use the xc case for his raptor just fireform by creating a false shoulder and jambing into lands and the petetsen brass is way better then that bertrun stuff
