338/300 ultra trim length

I have searched and read till my eyes have crossed.
Can someone tell me the trim length for the 338 edge.
New rifle will be here tomorrow I need to get busy.

When u open it up to 338 they will get shorter. Mine ended up around 2.833, so I tokk thr shortest one and made them the same. After the first time shawn recomended 2.835 for the guns he built me.

Mine range from 2.8275 To 2.8315 with most around 2.830 .
Think i'll go 2.827 for the first firing.
I saw one post where LTLR trims to 2.820. I belive thats right.

as long as they're short enough, i wouldn't trim the length till after you fire them as least once. just measure the length of your chamber at the neck and stay whatever distance shorter you're comfortable with.
