308 Win, 185VLD??

The Tac load seems to be on the low end. I worked up to 42.5 and have yet to see any pressure signs, all the brass looks totally normal.

I haven't loaded any 185's for 308win as going off their data. However I have loaded 185's for 300bo (not Berger).

Thoughts on these primers/brass? Bolt lift and extraction are smooth as with any factory load. I am working these loads up from scratch having started at 46 grains. Alliant had a load of 46.5 listed for the 180 Berger boattail. I am currently at 47.6 grains. It all looks fine to me with just a smidge of flattening. No ejector marks. 308 Win, Berger 185 VLD, 2000mr powder with fed match magnum primers. 20" PVA barrel.

Edges look fine. I ran 47.9 in my double lugged M1a, 47.5 in the McCoy 308 Garand

I have another couple loadings put together but got rained out. These print almost 8" higher at 100 than the factory 147s I used to sight in

When you get them to group well, you will have fun on steel plates up to 1000 yards.
