300 WSM

I've got a short barrel (16.5") Scout Rifle in 300 WSM I loaded with H4350.
I maxed out on velocity and case capacity without reaching any pressure signs.
Need a faster powder?
Thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks, Dave.
Not a short barrel but this is my load for my Browning A-bolt IMR4831 62.0gr Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos 175gr 2.869 COAL

I killed a lot of game with my Tikka 6.5 X 55 with a 140 grain bullet going 2750 out of a 22"barrel out to 500 yards. To get more speed out of a 300WSM you need to have a longer barrel or switch to a 300 Mag of some sort . Its the old lipstick on a pig situation . 300 WSM is a great cartridge . If you are using a can those heavy charges will shorten its life and burn through your barrel fast . JMHO,Huntz

You could try IMR4350. It is a little faster burning powder and may make a difference in the shorter barrel.
I am loading 66grns behind a Serria 190gn Impact bullet getting 2960 fps in a 23" barrel.

Got out today and shot my 180g Partition load, 64.0g H4350, both at book measurement and .020 off. My rifle did not like the .020 jump but this is what it shot after a 2 shot confirmation at 200 (bottom 2 shots) then an adjustment
