300 WM Bullet Recommendations?

As stated, looking for bullet recommendations for my 300 WM. I'm just about to start into my reloading journey, and need to buy some bullets to load. I'm looking for a bullet with good performance on game (black bear, muley and elk) out to 600 yards and shooting steel as far as I can achieve.

Also what bullet weight would you all recommend? Heavier than the 180s?
I use the bar es lrx in 175 and 200 shot a mule deer at 600 with the 175, im just developing the 200 load but early results look as good and accurate as the 175gn . I am partial to barnes for hunting.

This will equate to this

What is performance on game like with the Berger under 100 yards? I have shot opportunities like this often as well.
I'd use a monolithic or bonded bullet bullet for elk, especially if you're expecting shots at closer ranges.
I've had really poor penetration from Berger's and ELDM's due to rapid over expansion.
Another great option would be the Federal Edge TLR, it has a solid copper shank for deep penetration.
I have some extra 200 grain TLR's from when I still had a 30 Cal, I'd be willing to send you a few if you'd like to try them out.

I am working on loads with a 300 weatherby using Barnes 168gr TTSX. So far they are promising. Since 600yrds is the goal, the BC won't play as much of a role.

I took a whitetail yearling that weighed around 80# live weight this past Fall in South Texas with this exact combination. Deer dropped like a rock and exit hole was ... noticeable... It was about a 1" circular plug out the other side.

I would recommend barnes X bullets. 200gr. works well. I have shot 6 bears and an elk. Great results. 180 gr. for deer and antelope. This round is flying , and will do the job. I have used nosler Patition, another good 2nd choice.

I've had good luck with Barnes xxx 180's. Great penetration and weight retention.
