we are having the same, if not worse, problem here in australia. The only solution we have found is to buy 100 rounds of loaded ammo, pull the bullets and drop the powder, unless you shoot them up at the range or plinking.
Lately, we have had a good supply of norma unprimed brass, but, any other brands are non-existent. I normally like remington brass, but, the price of ammo is stupid expensive.
I still have 300 pieces of lapua brass from the late 80's, it is by far the best brass i have ever used. A batch of 80 is still going strong at a dozen firings and being annealed every other firing.
I am still on the fence with norma brass, and nosler brass is no good, the batch i have is first run stuff, i'm positive it is federal made, it is heavy, soft and doesn't last 2 firings. The new nosler is identical internally to my norma brass, so the rumours that's made by norma appear to be true.
