Solid points all around, much to respect and consider.
I own both scopes
I'll try them both out

You think a 21oz scope is heavy??? Man, I guess all my 32+oz scopes would be a no-go for you. Heck, I don't own a scope less than 24.4oz on any of my hunting rifles.Owned a Bushnell 2.5-16x50 Elite 6500and had it mounted on 2 different 300Win mags.
Good optics and clarity and of course Rainguard but that things as heavy as a sewer pipe (1 lb 5 oz).
If your hunting from a stand and getting to it on a quad not a big deal but if there's a lot of carrying through the bush I'd look at other options.
Pack llamas and indigenous sherpaswhats the trick, how do you carry it ?

I would stay away from the "Sherpas". Had one in 3-80x75. They are made in China and will not stand up to heavy recoil.Pack llamas and indigenous sherpas

If hunting from a stand and getting it on a quad band is not great, but if there's a lot to go in the jungle, I'll look for other options.
What brand scope are you talking about? For most hunting situations, the 3-15 will work well. For long distance use, the 5-20 might be better. I use a 3-24x52 for most everything. Flip a coin!
