300 win and 215 bergers load development

Looks like h4831sc gets to fill my cases. Just loaded up 4 rnds of h1000 with the 215's at 73.5, 74, 74.5, 75, 75.5, 76 and 76.5. They were all around moa at 100 yrds.

With this new lot of H1000, I ended up at 76.5 gr with the 215 Berger. Velocity was at 3016. Couldn't believe there could be 100 FPS between lots of H1000 previous lot I was at 75.5 gr. Well, long story short, I'll buy H1000 in an 8 pound jug and do a quick load work up to get on my velocity node and all will be good.

Used to run H4831 in a different 300 win mag a couple years back. My load for that gun was:

72.5 gr H4831SC
Winchester brass
Fed 215
2.910" BTO .005" off lands
3030 FPS avg.
ES 5
SD 10

Sold that gun to a guy at work who wants to get into hunting and shooting.

I was running 215 Bergers at 2860 with H1000. Couldn't wring another foot out of it. Went to Re-26 and got up to 3125 with a 26 inch bbl but the bolt got sticky so I backed off to 2,970fps with dime size groups. I'm a big H1000 fan but that extra 110 FPS with no pressure signs and tiny groups made me a believer

This is my RL26 load
RL26
74 gr.
PPU brass (real close to Win)
2.610" C
2.268" S
CCI 250
2..890" BTO .010" off lands.
3003 FPS AVG
SD 5
ES 13

Going to try Fed 215M primers with it next
