I shot factor 180s out of three guns a couple years back and checked my loading records for results. Guns were a abolt 300wsm 22 inch. a 700sps 26 inch 300 win mag and a weatherby vanguard 24 in. 300wby. All were averages of 5 shots. the wsm came in at 2897 the win mag at 2968 and the wby at 3011. Ammo was winchester wsm, fed 300win and weatherby 300wby. Yes it a bit unfair as the win mag had 4 inches more barrel then the wsm and 2 inches more then the wby, (funny thing though is ive got a 26 inch mark v too and the 24 inch vanguard consistantly shoots faster with the same load) and yes handloads might have helped all of them as ive shot higher velocitys with handloads in all three guns but but nothing earth shattering in differnces.
